It’s that time of year again: October, my favorite month. What is the best way to procrastinate writing than doing silly little Halloween activities?
My best friend and soul brother works in theater and brought up the amazing idea of going extra hard this month and doing a DOUBLE celebration. I had heard of doing the “thirty one days of Halloween” thing before, where you watch a different horror movie every single day of October. This year, the both of us are going to elevate it to a whole second level. A different horror movie every day AND a different costume every single day!
I’ve been a cosplayer since I was twelve so I have no idea how my stupid ass hasn’t thought to do this before, but away we go!
Today I’m enjoying the pleasure of writing this from the comfort of Panera bread in my sweet Silent Hill 2 nurse costume.
I’d like to draw a potentially controversial line in the sand here: the Silent Hill movie was not a good adaptation of the Silent Hill game…but I enjoy it anyway. Controversy over, please lower your torches and pitch forks.
